This project was given to us to develop during the winter session 2019 of UQAC, we were 6 developers (Samuel BUSSON, Gabriel DERRIEN, Grégory WEISS, Hugo MOHAMED, Lorenzo MARNAT) to work on this project and it was properly completed and presented to our jury, the teachers. HellBlaze is an RPG set in a "Heroic Fantasy" universe and places the player in a sinister and brutal atmosphere. The objective is to complete each level (with each its difficulties and gamemode) and to manage to carry out all the tasks which are given to you according to the difficulty you choosed. To ensure the longevity and replayability of our game, we have developed gameplay adapted to the progression and skills of the player. Thereby, a level system, tutorials, and Farm Zones were developed to fill more players according to their playing style.
As one of the first games of the SQUAD4 team and combining computer courses in addition to this project, our team was able to face many technical and organizational challenges. Programmed and established with Unity 5 as the game engine, we have used and covered a large number of functionality that our tool gave us. It was a real enriching experience to work with such programmers and we are happy with the result and the atmosphere that we were able to set up in our game.
